The American Dental Association recently presented a course on international volunteerism for dental professionals. “Dental professionals with a passion to make a difference on a global scale, travel and experience new cultures can learn about effective international volunteerism in the Annual Session course,” the ADA said.
The ADA said that “participants who take this course will learn to understand how oral health clinicians can create solutions to global health problems, how to make improvements in oral health through education and how to implement volunteer strategies that produce results.”
There is a great need for improved oral healthcare across the world and those with dental training often find ways to volunteer around the world to help provide valuable dental care.
Dental assistants who training at Milwaukee Career College are given the training and experience today’s dental employers are looking for. Its also possible for professionally trained dental assistants to find ways to volunteer around the world if that is something they are interested in.
Demand for dental assistants in America is growing and more and more dental employers are looking to hire dental assistants. However, these employers are finding it hard to find enough professionally trained dental assistants, especially those with training from a school like Milwaukee Career College. If you have a passion for dental care and have always thought about a career in the dental industry, then the dental assistant training program at Milwaukee Career College could be the right fit for you.
