Dental Assistant Training
Dental assistants prepare patients for treatment, care for dental equipment, assist the dentist in procedures and much more. Dental assistants work primarily in dental practices but can also be found in some government and physicians’ offices.
Medical Assistant Training
Medical assistants take patient histories, measure vital signs, administer patient injections, assist medical professionals in minor procedures and much more. Medical assistants have a variety of work environments to choose from including physicians’ offices, hospitals, outpatient care centers, and medical specialist offices.
Pharmacy Technician Training
Pharmacy technicians work under the supervision of licensed Pharmacists. The pharmacy tech is responsible for a wide range of tasks including processing prescription orders, receiving and verifying prescription information, updating patient profile information, filing prescriptions orders, stocking medications, and maintaining the pharmacy department.
Surgical Technician Training
Surgeons rely on surgical technicians to provide superior patient care in the operating room. Surgical techs ensure operating rooms have been disinfected, hands-off and receive surgical instruments, maintain a sterile environment and much more. A surgical tech can be found in hospitals, physicians offices, and outpatient care centers.
Veterinary Assistant Training
Veterinary assistants work under the supervision of a veterinarian in vet clinics, shelters and animal hospitals. Vet assistants perform several routine tasks including monitoring and caring for animals’ post-surgery, collect samples for testing, giving medication or immunizations, measuring weight, temperature and much more.
Veterinary Technician Training
Veterinary technicians work directly with veterinarians to perform medical tests and treatments in veterinary clinics, shelters and animal hospitals. Vet techs provide nursing and/or emergency care to animals, take and develop x-rays, administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
